The InNotes browser extension is different: the anonymous usage statistics it reports use no cookies at all. They are sent without any analytics cookie attached, and the extension is identified only by a random per‑install identifier stored on your device. You can switch those statistics off in the extension popup — see section 12 of our Privacy Policy.

3. Third-Party Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies. If you consent to analytics, we may load third‑party analytics strictly for measuring usage. These tools do not run unless you opt in.

4. LinkedIn Session Cookies (optional automation)

If you enable the optional LinkedIn automation features, the InNotes browser extension reads your existing LinkedIn session cookies (such as li_at and JSESSIONID) from your browser and sends them to InNotes so we can act on your behalf on LinkedIn (for example, job search and contact identity resolution). These are cookies set by LinkedIn, not by InNotes; we do not create them. They are collected only with your explicit consent, encrypted at rest, and deleted when you disable automation.
